What's a good vacuum cleaner brand?

I'm looking for a new vacuum cleaner but there are a lot of brands and I can't choose. Which brand/model do you recommend? Thanks!

    If you’re looking for a good quality bagless cleaner, but don’t want to spend a fortune, the Mach range from Vax are really good value. They use the same multi-cyclonic ‘no loss of suction’ technology as Dyson, but don’t cost as much and actually have a longer (6-year) guarantee.     Volta
    Just bought one recently.
    Only around $150 & the power suction (which is adjustable) is great.
    I personally can't see why anyone feels they need to buy expensive vacuum cleaners.
    Plus I think it came with a 2 year warranty so you cant beat that for $150

    I really like my Oreck. I ordered it online, and it came with all the attachments and a free car-vac.

    I live near an Oreck store and the employees there are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products.

    Even though I ordered mine online, they told me I was eligible for one free cleaning and tune up.

    i bought a samsung last week i don't know the model exactly because i bought it for a friend but he was really happy with it and it was really strong

    i'd go for the Nobsuk 2000

    its really good for picking up hairs too..!
